Part-Time Psychiatrist

Lotus House Women’s Shelter seeks the part time services of a psychiatrist to provide onsite psychiatric care as part of its holistic Health and Wellness service for high special needs women, youth and children at its residential facility, a shelter for women and children experiencing homelessness. Required services will include initial psychiatric evaluations, follow up evaluations and care, diagnoses, reports necessary for disability benefits, housing verifications and other necessary documentation of disabilities, crisis intervention and assessment, writing prescriptions and more. Candidates must have experience working with women and youth with histories of serious trauma, domestic violence, serious mental illness, post traumatic stress symptomatology, and other high special needs. Must have experience working with LGBTQIA community. Must have specialty in psychiatry and able to write prescriptions and make diagnoses. Psychiatric nurse practitioners should only apply if they have signed protocols and supervision by a medical doctor. We are unable to provide the medical doctor supervision and protocols for nurse practitioners.

Seasoned Substance Abuse Counselor

Lotus House Women’s Shelter is seeking a seasoned, clinician with demonstrated experience in assessments and clinical counseling to work with women and youth with severe trauma histories and serious mental health issues. This is an opportunity for rewarding clinical work with a diverse community using an evidence-based, trauma-informed and holistic approach. Experience serving those with serious trauma histories, medical issues, mental health conditions, as well as working with individuals identifying as LGBTQ and those who have histories of domestic violence is a must. Candidates must have their CAP and training/certification in evidence based clinical modalities and possess a positive attitude, creativity, and commitment to helping improve the lives of women and children in the community. Responsibilities include direct provision of individual therapy (diagnosis and treatment), group therapy, crisis intervention, quality assurance, monitoring and compliance with contractual and regulatory responsibilities. Financial Grant Manager 

Lotus House Women’s Shelter is seeking an experienced grants manager with bookkeeper experience (specifically, Quickbooks) to assist with financial and contractual reporting and compliance to funding and regulating agencies. Responsibilities include without limitation, generating and interpreting financial reports, preparing monthly reimbursement requests, classing of revenue and expenses, narrative and financial reporting to various funding and government agencies, other contract and grant compliance matters, and more. Candidate must have 5+ years in grants management experience as well as proficiency in QuickBooks software.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years previous experience in grants management
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles, including but not limited to basic GAAP
  • Skilled QuickBooks User, including reports and analysis
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Problem Solving Ability
  • Understanding of nonprofit financials preferred
  • Experience with federal grant awards preferred

Lotus House Women’s Shelter is seeking a grants manager to assist with qualitative and quantitative contractual reporting and compliance to funding and regulating agencies. Responsibilities include without limitation, narrative and financial reporting to various funding and government agencies and other organizations and funders, regular data analysis to ensure programs are on track to meet all deliverables, coordination with team to ensure all data being entered into electronic system timely and accurately, generating and interpreting financial reports, classing of revenue and expenses, and more.
